Understanding Turnkey and Full-Service Solutions at Hales Industries

The terms “turnkey” and “full-service” are frequently mentioned in our industry, but what do they really entail? Simply put, these terms refer to the comprehensive ability to transform a product from an initial idea to a finished good ready for market distribution. At Hales Industries, our turnkey solutions are tailored to meet the needs of companies both large and small, ensuring that businesses of all sizes can benefit from our expertise and services. Let’s delve into the various stages of providing turnkey services at Hales Industries.

CONCEPT

The journey begins when a prospect approaches us with an idea for a new product. They have a clear vision of the product’s appearance, feel, and purpose but need assistance in turning this concept into a tangible item.

Design

Once we understand the product idea and have a solid grasp of our prospect’s goals, we move to the design phase. This is where the concept starts to take shape. Our industry expertise, combined with the client’s vision, allows us to provide suggestions that will bring the product to life cost-effectively and efficiently, ensuring the highest quality end product.

During this stage, we provide various samples of packaging, bottles, caps, labels, formulas, etc. We also explain the cost and lead time implications of each sample, ensuring our client has a comprehensive understanding of the product development process.

I have not worked with Steve for long, but during that time the service he has provided has been unlike anything I have ever experienced before. You can really tell that he is a good, «old school» genuinely kind and interested guy. I’m genuinely excited to create more products so I can offer him more work, that should tell you everything you need to know.

Material Sourcing

At this point, our prospect becomes a qualified client. After selecting final components from the samples provided, we plan for production by sourcing the necessary materials. Based on the initial production run size, we reach out to vendors and place orders for the required materials.

Production Planning

Production planning is an integral part of the process from the start, but now it’s time to refine these plans. This includes machinery tooling, line layout and footprint, quality control expectations, and setting a production timeline. Detailed planning in these areas pays off immensely when production begins.

Production

The production phase is the most exciting part of the process as the client’s idea finally comes to life. We often invite clients to observe the first run, ensuring they can witness their concept turning into a physical product.

Fulfillment

Once production wraps up and everything is packed, the final step is getting the product to market. This involves arranging shipments directly to consumers, retail locations, or distribution centers, completing the journey from concept to consumer.

Review

Regardless of the success of the initial production run, there is always room for improvement. We conduct a post-production review with our client to ensure we met or exceeded expectations. This review often identifies small tweaks that can increase efficiency and reduce costs, further enhancing the product development process.

At Hales Industries, we pride ourselves on our turnkey and full-service solutions, guiding you through each stage from concept to fulfillment with expertise and dedication. Whether you are a large enterprise or a small startup, our services are designed to meet your specific needs and help you bring your product to market successfully.
